Happy 4th of July!

The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays. We've always taken the blanket, lots of snacks, balls, and playing cards to our local park to enjoy the festivities. It's a no-stress, simple day to enjoy. Those times with my boys and husband are very fond memories. I say memories because my boys are teens now. Playing catch or "Go Fish" with me on the blanket no longer holds the same appeal to them (to say the least). Our 4th of July celebrations are changing but the day still holds the same meaning to me.

I think about my country each year at this time and am reminded that I am so grateful to be an American. Times are scary and the future is uncertain, but I'm grateful for the life I lead and the endless opportunities that are open to my boys. We are blessed.

To celebrate the 4th of July, etsy style, here are just a few great items just right for this time of year....
